Un progetto di restyling che ha avuto come obiettivo di partenza quello di preservare ed ovviamente migliorare, riducendo al minimo le opere murarie.

A restyling project that had as its starting point that of preserving, reducing the masonry works to a minimum and obviously improving.
Trattasi di una villa degli anni ’90 nella zona del Roero, sito UNESCO (con le più conosciute Langhe e il Monferrato) dal 2014 per i caratteristici vitigni che ne disegnano il paesaggio.
This is a 1990s villa in the Roero area, a UNESCO site since 2014 (with the best known Langhe and Monferrato) for the characteristic vines that draw the landscape.
Realizzata da un architetto locale e figlia di quegli anni denota alcune finiture e materiali di pregio, come il marmo di carrara del bagno principale o le pavimentazioni in pietre naturali, che congiuntamente coi clienti si è deciso di mantenere e valorizzare. Scelta che oltre ad un contenimento dei costi, punta anche ad un risparmio delle risorse.
Made by a local architect and daughter of those years, it denotes some fine finishes and materials, such as the Carrara marble in the main bathroom or the natural stone flooring, which we decided to maintain and enhance together with the customers. A choice that, in addition to cost containment, also aims at saving resources.
E’ così che rinasce Villa M&M, intorno ad un grande camino centrale – a bioetanolo – visibile già dall’ingresso e via via da tutte le aree che compongono la grande zona giorno: cucina, pranzo e soggiorno.
This is how Villa M&M is reborn, around a large central fireplace – bioethanol – visible from the entrance and gradually from all the areas that make up the large living area: kitchen, dining and living room.
Qui si concentrano anche la maggior parte delle poche opere murarie previste, quali la demolizione di un tramezzo per mettere in comunicazione la cucina con l’area giorno e quello per la realizzazione del camino (dove già è presente una canna fumaria).
Most of the few planned masonry works are also concentrated here, such as the demolition of a partition to put the kitchen in communication with the living area and that for the construction of the fireplace (where there is already a chimney).
La zona notte invece rimarrà pressochè invariata, tranne per il rifacimento del bagno connesso alla camera patronale.
The sleeping area, on the other hand, remains almost unchanged, except for the renovation of the bathroom connected to the master bedroom.
La maggior parte degli interventi dunque si concentra a livello di arredo e tinteggiature, tranne per la cucina dove verrà realizzato un pavimento in malta idraulica pozzolanica a bassissimo spessore (resina) sull’esistente al fine di migliorare l’accostamento con granito rosso del soggiorno, senza interventi pesanti preservando così l’impianto di riscaldamento a pavimento già operante e funzionante in tutta la casa.
Most of the interventions are therefore concentrated in terms of furnishings and painting, except for the kitchen where a very low thickness (resin) pozzolanic hydraulic mortar floor will be created on the existing one in order to improve the combination with red granite in the living room. without heavy interventions thus preserving the underfloor heating system already up and running throughout the house.
Anche i serramenti esterni come le facciate assumeranno colori più consoni all’ambiente ed al contesto secondo le prescrizioni della Commissione Paesaggistica al fine di rendere l’intera costruzione più armoniosa.
Even the external windows such as the facades will take on colours more suited to the environment and the context according to the requirements of the Landscape Commission in order to make the whole building more harmonious.
